Why Are Short Shorts An Acceptable Form of Attire at Public Schools?
Tweens and Teen Girls Walking Around in their Underwear!
With the last days of Summer edging closer to Autumn, the days will become cooler and cooler. And I, for one, am glad of it. In my area, Summer has been going strong with no signs of letting up. The mornings have been in the 60–70 degree range and the afternoons are in the 80s. We’ve gone almost a month with rain. Nothing but blue skies and hot days.
That’s why as much as I love Summer and warm weather, it’s time for Autumn to take the reins. My reason is this — the short shorts phenomenon I’ve seen at my current school. It’s out of control! Some girls have worn shorts so short they look like underwear. It’s too much (or maybe too little).
School has been in session for almost two weeks and I have seen girls wearing denim short shorts, cotton short shorts, and nylon/polyester stretchy short shorts. Usually the short shorts are black in color or denim-colored, but they look like clothes for elementary school girls. They’re also wearing crop tops and tanks to go with their short shorts. I’m starting to recognize some of the female students by whether or not they have an inner or an outer belly button!
