What are the Summer 2024 Makeup Trends?

As we draw closer to the official start of summer, it’s time to starting considering summer makeup. Every time I go into a store whether it’s CVS, Target or Walgreens, the first section I notice is cosmetics. Depending on the retailer, I’m besieged by rows and rows of makeup. It can be quite overwhelming.
The challenge is determining which makeup product is best for my skin. I usually wear concealer, foundation, blush, and setting powder. I use different products from various cosmetic brands — Covergirl, Fenty, and Revlon — to name just a few. I’m always on the hunt for makeup that compliments my skin tone. Usually what I find is that the products are either too light or too dark for my hue.
I’ve become very good at mixing shades. It’s become a necesssity. It’s difficult to find an exact match for my skin. I would describe my skin tone as medium brown. Various parts of my body are darker than others. For example, my neck is darker than my face. My butt, hips, and thighs are darker than my legs. I am a cross-section of various shades of brown.
When CVS or Target doesn’t have what I seek, I go to Sephora or Ulta Beauty. These two retailers are focused only on cosmetics and skin care. I don’t…
