We as Black people must continue to invest in our own. We must build up our communities. We must reach out to those of us with substantial means (i.e. celebrities, influencers, athletes, and politicians) to do more in poverty-stricken neighborhoods. For example, does the city of Flint, Michigan have clean water - yet? If not, that could have been solved by a celebrity or athlete from that state. We can't depend on non-people of color to help us. They want to hold us back and stunt our progress in this country.
