Here’s What I’ve Heard, Read and Seen from the Dictator-Wanna Be
As of today’s date, August 7th, Trump’s actions have begun to take a toll on the American econony and its citizens (legal or otherwise). Here’s what Trump has been up to as of late:
Trump is to meet with Russia’s president Putin regarding Ukraine.
Ukraine and Russia are still at war.
Israel’s Netanyahu has said the quiet part out loud — Israel wants total control over Gaza.
Meanwhile, thousands of Palestinians are dying from hunger. Hundreds have already succumbed from lack of food and water.
Trump wanted Texas to redistrict which caused dozens of Texas Democrats to flee the state. Some of those Democrats made their way to Massachusetts where they met with Governor Healey.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has asked the FBI to find the Democrats and return them to Texas in order to hold the redistricting vote. The FBI has stated they will get intvolved in the matter.
Florida is redistricting itself as well. This will cause voting disruptions in some of Florida’s largest Black-majority counties.
Alligator Alacatraz may be shut down due to environmental concerns. In addition, many inmates are on a hunger strike, refusing to eat in protest…
