The Two Spell the Death Knell for Democracy in America
Project 2025 is led by the Heritage Foundation, which aims to transform the United States into a “Christian Nation.” Never mind the fact that religious freedom is one of the tenets of the Constitution or the fact that the U.S. contains a plethora of religions.
If Trump returns to the White House, the Heritage Foundation and his MAGA minions will roll out the doctrine within Project 2025. Laws that support education reform, health care access, and the rights of people of color will be ended. The LBGQTI+ communities will be targeted. Marriage rights will be stripped away.
The Democrats are too focused on Biden’s age and not his gains since taking office. Biden knows he’s elderly. He doesn’t need to be constantly reminded about his age. Stop the ageism! Biden understands what’s at stake and wants to be the one to stop it.
But Biden can’t do it alone. Project 2025 is a powerful document, and the Republicans are behind it. A growing segment of the population wants to be controlled and their rights taken away. Of course, these would be people who haven’t lived up to their potential, see other cultures as a threat, and want to live the life their grandparents did in 1954.
But those of us with any sense can help Biden end this madness. We must vote in local, state, and national elections. There must be long lines at the polling places, and the ballot booths must be busy with voters. We must support freedom and the right to live and love as we please. We can’t have the Heritage Foundation, Trump, or MAGA take away a century’s gain of rights.
Vote! 🗳️ There’s too much at stake not to.
