Three Outfit Ideas for Hot Summer Days
Here are some suggestions for when the heat is heating!
The Northeast part of the country is on fire. Not literally, but it may well happen. The temperatures have been hitting 90 degrees and above for the past two weeks. With schools out and summer officially in session, the beaches and spray pads are packed with kids and families trying to stay cool.
While some people may have a backyard pool or live near a beach, most must find other waves to thwart the sun. One way to do it is to stay hydrated. Ice-cold water is the best ticket to keeping the body cool on hot summer days with high humidity. Plus, ice water tastes extra good on a hot, humid day.
Another way to stay cool is to make strategic clothing choices. Certain outfits pair well in muggy weather. For example, you want to wear brightly colored clothing—light blue, pink, and white are good choices. Avoid dark-colored clothes like black, navy blue, and forest green. Dark clothes absorb more heat than lighter-colored clothing.
