Pencil Skirts pop up in fashion every few years. Sometimes it’s a blip, and sometimes it’s for a season. In 2024, pencil skirts are having a moment for Spring 2024.

I see pencil skirts in every major retailer, from ASOS to Zara. I recently saw an entire rack of differently patterned pencil skirts in an Old Navy store. Pencil skirts can be made from cotton, polyester, silk, or leather. Some pencil skirts are made for women without a butt, hips, or thighs. Other pencil skirts are designed for women with a more ample lower half.
