Action and Fashion is this latest Marvel movie
As a Marvel fan, I love to see how the MCU’s next phase is being developed. To be honest, I don’t know or understand the MCU’s current direction. It was so easy to figure out during the MCU’s earlier phases. From Iron Man to Captain America to Thor, Marvel gave us a connect-the-dots path to follow. It was especially easy to see the direction in the after-credits as audiences saw hints of Thanos’ role in the MCU.
But now, I don’t understand what is going on. I think Marvel is setting up the next wave of heroes to face off against Kang. But Kang doesn’t seem as imposing or as threatening as Thanos. And how does the multiverse play a role in this phase of the MCU?
The multiverse has been mentioned in several Marvel movies — Spiderman’s “Far From Home and No Way Home”, Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings,” Doctor Strange and The Multiverse of Madness”, and now in The Marvels. I think the multiverse is on the verge of cracking but I’m not 100% certain. I know it’s been broken open and has a plethora of holes it in. So, an implosion within the multiverse seems possible — and inevitable.
The latest piece to the multiverse puzzle is The Marvels. The bad guy, a Kree woman named Dargan, is on a quest to save her planet, Hala. It seems Captain Marvel (played by Bri Larson), came to Hala and destroyed the techno-sentient being that controlled the planet. Unfortunately, the destruction of the being led to disaster for Hala. Hala’s sun lost power, the land dried up…
