The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan are fictional characters created by white people. These stories were written over 100 years ago! It's time for a long overdue update. People of color werent considered when these stories were created but they'r being considered now. I'm happy to see a Black mermaid. I'm happy to see a Black Tinkerbell. Disney is doing the right thing _ finally. The world is a diverse globe full of people of many backgrounds who all deserve to see themselves represented oin films and televsion.
