The Katt Williams and Shannon Sharpe Interview — Fashion Review
Controversy aside, let’s examine the fashion
We’re seven days into 2024 and the year has its first big bang — the Katt Williams and Shannon Sharpe interview. The podcast and video dropped on January 3rd, sending shockwaves through the entertainment industry.
Katt Williams came on Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” (why is it named that?) and dropped some truth bombs during the conversation. Club Shay Shay was a nice set with brown leather sofas, a fireplace, and a brown dark oak table. Cognac was the drink on tap as the men shared stories. Williams spoke of gatekeepers, being blackballed by the industry, and his journey to the comedy stage when he left home at 13.
My focus is not on Williams’ lived experience. I can’t critique what he went through, saw or heard. The comedy world is not my world. I like to laugh and enjoy humor in all forms, but I can’t critique what Williams told Sharpe during their conversation. What I can say is that I laughed and my jaw dropped throughout the nearly three hours the men talked.
What I can critique is the fashion both men wore during the interview. Let’s begin with Sharpe’s outfit. First and foremost, the outfit was too tight for Sharpe’s muscular frame. I don’t understand why men with muscles wear formfitting clothes. It’s not a good look.
