Welcome to the Billionaires’ Club, Sis.

Billionaire Boss Babe

On Forbes’ website, this is what they’re saying about Rihanna —

“Robyn Fenty, known to the world as Rihanna, launched Fenty Beauty in 2017, she sought to create a cosmetics company that made “women everywhere (feel) included.” A perhaps unintended consequence: The beauty line has helped her enter one of the world’s most exclusive ranks: Billionaire.

Rihanna is now worth $1.7 billion, Forbes estimates — making her the wealthiest female musician in the world and second only to Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer. But it’s not her music that’s made her so wealthy. The bulk of her fortune (an estimated $1.4 billion) comes from the value of Fenty Beauty, of which Forbes can now confirm she owns 50%. Much of the rest lies in her stake in her lingerie company, Savage x Fenty, worth an estimated $270 million, and her earnings from her career as a chart-topping musician and actress.” (Forbes.com)

Yes, Rihanna is a billionaire. Her beauty brand — Fenty — has earned her a spot in the billionaire club. I’m not mad at that one bit. Rihanna deserves everything and more. Of course, I’d like her to come out with another album. Yes, I’d like to see her in more acting roles. But I understand. The beauty industry has provided Rihanna with more money than acting or singing combined. Why leave a good thing?

Rihanna proves that a woman is on a mission to do incredible things. Rihanna is showing women of her generation, any generation really, that our dreams are important. We must pursue our dream, ladies. There are things in the world that require our attention. We are leaving it to others when we could solve it ourselves.

Rihanna is amazing. She always has a purpose. Rihanna is motivated and talented. She is a global phenomenon. Her presence in the world of beauty, fashion, and music have made a huge impact. I wish her well and I hope she uses her newfound wealth to help others. Please don’t build a penis-shaped rocket ship and fly off into the stratosphere. We need you on Earth.
