A Poetic Narrative
Delta Variant. I am you,
pretending to be me, my personaliy
is not what you have, you are
divergent, telling everyone
how fearful you are, what an
operation you perform
on the human body, so tough,
I am not you but you are within me,
& everyone else on this planet, we
who are tired of wearing masks,
avoiding each other for we are
plague carriers& those of us
who are vaccinated cast a side-eye
to those who are not, a new classism
has been created & this world will
never be the same
