Oscars — Fashion Review: Part III

The “Wear It or Trash It” segment

While I like the pink color, Grande’s ensemble is a huge TRASH IT. Why? The dress felt too voluminous for Grande’s petite figure. A pink blob had attached itself to Grande’s body. As I watched her on screen, I thought of newly spun cotton candy or the inside of a parachute after it had deployed. Grande made a grand entrance — mission accomplished.

However, Grande’s “Wicked” co-star, Cynthia Erivo was divine in a green leather ensemble. The dress hugged her curves in all the right places. It was the perfect outfit as the season transitioned from winter to spring. The ruffles going down the back of the dress were the icing on the cake. This outfit was a WEAR IT.
