Time to rid Yourself of Unused Clothing
Cleaning out your closet and removing unused clothing is an excellent way to declutter your living space, streamline your wardrobe, and contribute to charitable causes or the environment. While potentially daunting, this process can be both liberating and transformative. Here are several methods to help you clean your closet and dispose of unused clothing.
1. Assess Your Current Wardrobe
Take Everything Out
Start by emptying your entire closet. This step lets you see all your clothing at once, giving you a clear idea of the volume you own and helping you make more informed decisions about what to keep and discard.
Sort by Category
Sort your clothing into tops, bottoms, dresses, outerwear, and accessories. This will help you see how much you have of each type of item and identify any redundancies.
