Obama’s Message to Black Men
The Words Needed to be Heard
A few days ago, former President (and still MY President) Barack Obama addressed Black male voters about their reluctance to back Kamala Harris for the White House (and even consider Trump as their best option). Obama gave Black men some harsh words that needed to be spoken. While some Democrats were upset by Obama’s bluntness, others applauded the former President for his words.
My take on the situation is Obama said what he said, and Black men needed to hear it. Too many Black men believe that Trump will help them if he’s reelected. Many of them want another stimulus check. But that check was provided by Congress — not by Trump. Trump didn’t want to issue the stimulus checks.
In addition, Trump, if reelected, will turn America into a fascist state. He will turn back the clock on all rights with the Supreme Court backing him up. Trump wants to ban abortion in every state. He wants to do away with the Department of Education. Trump wants to use the military to squash any protests in the country. He also vowed to go after all of his enemies if he returned to office.
