New York Fashion Week: Part II Continued
The Rest of My New York Adventure
While I was only there for a weekend, my experience in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood left me wanting more time in the city. But I had to be at work on Monday, so I packed as much as I could into Sunday.
I had an evening flight Sunday night so I decided to forego more shows at The Bureau and explore the area. It was a lovely late summer day. The sky was blue with puffy, white clouds. The air was warm. Temperatures were in the low 80s. The humidity wasn’t high. It was just a nice day to be outside.
Since I had been turned off by the Stage Manager for The Bureau, the thought of spending 4–6 hours inside a crowded room at lost its appeal. While I did want more content for my various social media platforms, I felt I could get that by venturing out on my own.
I’m so glad that I did!
After another session inside Chelsea Market, a security guard directed me across the street to Pier 57. Apparently Pier 57 was another destination for eating, drinking, and enjoying the views along the water. Plus, there was a park on its roof! Intrigued, I went over to investigate.
