A Weekend in New York

I’m back in New York City for my second New York Fashion Week. Unfortunately, I can only spend the weekend there. I have to return to work on Monday. I wish I could stay longer, but I’m in no position to miss days at a new job.

My trip to NYC started with a plane and two trains. I flew into JFK Airport, got my luggage (which was a wait), and learned I had to take an air train to Jamaica (not the island) and then the LIRR (Long Island Railroad) to reach Penn Station.

Once I checked in, I went to my hotel room and dropped off my luggage. I went right back out to get some dinner. I was starving. A few restaurants were nearby, and I ordered a chicken and veggie bowl from DIG. I stopped by a convenience store and picked up some drinks and snacks. I then returned to my hotel.

After eating, I flipped through the TV channels, and there wasn’t much to watch. I charged my phone…
