More is Coming!
When Life Has You Stressed, Remember Your Blessings
“More is coming.” Those were the words a content creator on Instagram used as I watched her video this morning. I was scrolling through Instagram, viewing New York Fashion Week Videos, when her video popped up on my feed.
A Black woman sat on a chair, painting. She looked at the camera and said, “More is coming.” The sentence got my attention and kept me focused on her words. The woman was calm, but her voice had an excited and decisive undertone. She believed every word she said in her video and made me a believer by the end of it.
“More is coming. “
The content creator was matter-of-fact about the statement. Regardless, if you’re going through a relationship, career, or financial issue, more is coming. This means that better days are ahead. Don’t stress about what you don’t have. Look at what you do have. Those are your blessings.
I needed this video. A former co-worker in my neighborhood saw me as I entered my home. She stopped her walk to chat. She asked me what school I was currently working and I told her that I was in another district. She made a sad face, wished me luck, and went.
