To All the Moms Out There — Your Lives Matter

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms across the U.S. and around the globe! This world would not function without us. We moms are the oil for the global machine. We are the breath of this world’s life. The planet does not deserve us but needs us.

Motherhood comes in many shapes and forms. There are bio moms, adoptive moms, foster moms, god moms, stepmoms, and auntie moms. These moms attend schools, meetings, events, and family functions. We are the moms who cook, clean, cut, sew, chaperone, chauffeur, shop, and advocate for our families.

When we love, we love hard. We are momzillas when it comes to our kids; our children drive us to be better women. I know that is true for me. I knew I wanted to be a better person when I became a mom. I wanted to live in my truth, pursue my passions, and increase my self-care. Being a mom was a transformative process I’m so glad I embraced.
