Two Days Left to Shop Before Christmas

As of this writing, December 23rd is just a few hours away. I just returned from an afternoon of shopping. As I enjoy my salad from Lamberts and watch a few episodes of “Blue Eye Samurai,” I wonder what last-minute deals I can score from my favorite retailers.

Every retailer is having a sale. My family and I spent a few hours shopping at the South Shore Mall in Braintree, Mass. The mall was packed which wasn’t a surprise. As we walked around, many people passed by loaded with shopping bags. The stores were packed with customers all seeking rock-bottom Christmas bargains.

I was in search of bargains as well. I wanted to treat myself to a few items on my Christmas list. I managed to snag a pair of Nike high tops on sale for $68 at Macy’s as well as an Adidas shirt for $15 and a purple Levis sweatshirt for $40. I even managed to find a short checkout line near the front entrance of the store!

I went into Primark and H&M which also had a lot of deals (and a lot of customers). Lines were long at H&M as customers purchased markdowns in men's and women’s clothing. There were hats marked down to $5 and jewelry like rings and earrings selling for $3.
