An NFL Pro Kicker Wants to Send 21st Century Women Back to the 1950s.
Harrison Butker needs to keep his outdated opinions to himself. During a commencement speech, Butker decided to share his views about a woman’s place in the world. He told the women in the audience that they had been raised on “diabolical lies.”
Butker is a butthead! I’m sure his wife was seething with anger as he spoke about how she supported his career while taking care of his home and children. And maybe she’s happy — or maybe not. What about her dreams before the marriage and kids? Have those died on the vine? Or did Butker tell her to forget about being anything besides a wife and mother?
Surprisingly, Butker’s mother is a renowned physicist well-respected in her field. His sister is a doctor. Where is all this stay-home and support-your-husband crap coming from? Maybe Butker was mad at not being more than an NFL kicker. Maybe his mom wanted him to have a career that had a longer shelf life.
