I'm so glad your breast cancer was caught in an early stage and treated! I had the same issue 6 years ago. I had Stage 2B breast cancer. I had discovered a lump in my right breast that was hard and didn't feel right. I had lumps before during my periods but they went away after my cycle had ended. This lump didn;t go away like the others. After my primary doctor examined me and I had a biopsy, it was discovered I had breast cancer. Fortunately, it was only in my right breast and it was taken care of using chemo, surgery and radiation. I had a lumpectomy and reconstructive surgery to even out both breasts. I'm still under treatment but the cancer has not returned. I recently had a mammogram and all was clear. But cancer cares me and so many people have died from it. Recently, Norm McDonald, who was only 61 years old and battled cancer for 9 years. I wish he could have been saved. More research and treatment options are needed to defeat thiss dreaded disease, so more people can survive and thrive.
