I Want Out from the Jada Pinkett-Smith Group Chat
Enough is enough!
Jada, I admire you as an actress and as a mother. In addition, I admire you as a Black woman. But from one Black woman to another — sis, you need to stop with all the Tupac talk! In addition, you need to stop putting your and Will’s business out in public.
Of course, it’s too late with the separation revelation. You two are actors and deserve an award for keeping your separation under wraps for seven years. During that time, I viewed so many photos of you two together — at award shows, movie premieres, and parties. I would have never guessed that you two weren’t together.
I guess you had us all fooled. But now, it’s time to zip that lip and sell your books without making you and Will look any more foolish. I don’t care about your marital woes — millions of couples across the country have them as well. You need to keep that stuff in-house and discuss it with a therapist or marriage counselor.
I understand that neither of you desires a divorce and that’s good. That means there is still love between you two. You need to go back to why you love each other and married in the first place. Reminisces on the good times, think about when you first met and were dating, all the laughter and fun you had in the early days of your relationship. Then, think about why you got married and all the blessings that came from your union.
But please stop putting us all on your group chat. Your personal life is not for public…
