Holiday Shopping Rush
Get those last-minute deals!
Christmas is less than a week away. Six days to be exact. It falls on a Saturday this year. This means that we’ve entered the final days of holiday shopping. The malls are packed. The stores are offering deep discounts. Online shoppers need to get their items ordered in time for Christmas. The next few days will be filled with merry mayhem.
So if you’re still buying gifts for family and friends, you can’t go wrong with gift cards. They’re easy to find, easy to fill, and can be used repeatedly. Gift cards are available for just about every store whether it’s Abercrombie & Fitch or Walmart. You can even find gift cards at specialty shops like antique stores and boutiques.
In addition to gift cards, consider purchasing an experience. People are always looking for fun indoor activities like bowling, rock climbing, and trampolines. This will provide the person with a day full of fun and laughter. Those memories last a lifetime!
Another idea is making gifts. If you’re into crafting, you can paint, sculpt, or knit a one-of-a-kind gift. People love personalized gifts. There’s nothing like having something you can’t find in the stores. In addition, making a gift doesn’t have to be a day-long task. Check out Google for how-to’s on quick, simple crafts to create for friends and family.
If you feel like braving the malls, I would suggest going to the carts and kiosks outside of stores. These are often small business owners who will offer unique, handmade items for your shopping needs. Generally, most shoppers ignore these small shops, opting for the bigger stores. This provides an opportunity for you to check out what the small business owners offer. They’ll definitely appreciate the business.
With the pandemic continuing, people need to be safe when in crowds. When you go out, wear a mask and social distance. Don’t take off your mask unless you are eating or drinking. Wash your hands often. Stand at least three feet if possible when standing in line. Have a list when you enter the mall so you can get what you need quickly and leave as soon as possible.
Be safe out there!
