Life can be hectic. Bills, kids, relationships, work—they can take their toll on our physical and mental health. When the weekend arrives, we are playing catch—up, trying to run errands and do all the things we couldn’t get done during the week.

One area that can suffer is our style. Our clothes hang in the closet (or on the floor), waiting for us to put them on. But we often find ourselves not in the mood to get dressed, so we grab what’s most accessible—a tee shirt, a hoodie, jeans, and sneakers. There’s no magnetism to our outfits. We wear whatever will get us through the day.

But it’s important to be intentional with what we wear. Getting dressed is a part of self-care. We can get into a style rut if we don’t take the time to put our looks together. We deserve to look and feel our best every day. The world will see it in our outfits if we're a mess. If we’re stressed, the world doesn’t need to know. Our outfits should make us glow.
