It’s been quite the month

February 2023 is about to become part of history.

In my area, we’ve had many warm Spring-like days.

We’ve also had a deep freeze weekend. It was so cold in the house that I was wrapped in several layers of blankets. My poor dog had to sleep with me and he snores!

We also had a February vacation — a mix of sunny days, clouds, and snow.

I look forward to March. March is Women’s History Month. A chance to celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of women. I will feature women who have contributed to the arts, education, fashion, music, and politics.

February is Black History Month. It’s been a great month of learning about Black history makers. It was also a month of Governor Ron Desantis’ AP African American Studies ban and Scott Adams’ racist rant on YouTube.

This month will go down as a turning point in race relations in America.

Let’s see what March brings.
