Some Sparkle and Shine

There is a clinking sound

as she sways down the runway

a purple-turquoise blur, a tropical breeze

of shimmery silk & satin, a marvel

of color combining into brilliance

Her eyes are straight ahead as beads swing

around her neck, her arm hangs loose

her stride is full of pride with a soft swish

The audience watches with intensity

Her performance is a kaleidoscope

of Spring hope, a season’s trends & sassy style
