Election 2022

November 8th will be a momentous day.

All I can tell anyone and everyone who reads this piece is to do ONE thing — VOTE!

Why? Because there are forces in this country who want to turn back time (shout out to Cher) and take the country from 2022 to 1952.

If you think I’m exaggerating, let’s look at some evidence.

1. Multi-state rollback of Roe v Wade

2. Doctors and other health care providers are threatened with fines and jail time in anti-abortion states.

3. Women who travel out of state for abortion also face jail time.

4. No consideration for women who were victims of rape or incest.

5. The attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband by a pro-Trump extremist.

6. The jokes made by Republicans on the campaign trail at Mr. Pelosi’s expense (the man could have died!).

7. Redistricting in Red states to increase Republican share of voting control

8. The Supreme Court looking to end Affirmative Action in higher education.

9. Increase of racial attacks on Black, Asians, and Jews.

10. January 6th (Nuff said).

The bottom line is this — if the Republicans regain control of both houses of Congress (House and Senate), then anything Biden tries to accomplish over the next two years will be blocked at every turn.

Republicans are hellbent to discredit Biden and thwart Democratic efforts to restore the country’s immoral imbalance. Plus, Republicans are out for revenge — especially Donald Trump.

Trump has been teasing for months that he might run again for President. If he does announce another presidential run, his base will be whipped up in a frenzy. They’ll turn out in droves at the polls and camp out in D.C. to await the return of their dictator-wanna-be and traitor-in-chief.

On Tuesday, November 8th, please come out and vote. Tell your mom, dad, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and anyone of voting age. Democracy is at stake. Humanity is at stake.

America will choose tomorrow — progress or regress.
