The End of Equality is Nigh

President Trump has wasted no time in dismantling gains made by Blacks, women, and other nonwhite racial groups in his first five days in office.

He began by placing federal workers in DEI programs on administrative leave with the intent of laying them off.

He announced that Black History Month won’t be recognized at the Federal level.

He signed an executive order attacking the Equal Employment Opportunity Act.

Trump has followed the plans of Project 2025. No one believed those of us who said he would do so. But now it’s happening, and the deniers are shaken.

We told you so. We knew. Trump showed his cards before the inauguration, even before he won back the White House. He made promises and lies. He lied about lowering grocery and gas prices. He promised to go after the “woke” factions in America.

Black and Brown immigrants who don’t have legal status in the US are being deported. Trump wants to end birthright citizenship. While that goes against the Constitution, Trump seems to care not for a document that has been the law of the land for three hundred years.

What do all these shenanigans mean for us? To start, employers can discriminate against people of color, women, and older workers. They can deny employment to people of different religions.
