Castlevania Nocturne: Season 2 Fashion Review
Stylishly Slaying
As a fan of the Castlevania series, I often admired the outfits worn by the key characters. They know how to look their best as they fight for their lives. The creators of the anime have an eye for style. From Trevor Belmont’s crest-covered overcoat to Richter’s military-style uniform. The characters in Castlevania know how to slay and slay in these streets.
Fighting monsters is no easy task and to look good while doing it is even harder. In Season 2 of Castlevania Nocturne, Richter and the gang continue to dress well despite all the blood and gore. Their outfits look barely the worst for wear after every battle. It amazes me how their collars are so crisp and white, the clothing so bright and colorful. There certainly weren’t any dry cleaners or laundromats in 1798 Paris, France!
Even the characters with more muted outfits still stand out in every scene. There’s Mizrak’s uniform with the large chest-plate emblazoned with a white cross. There’s Tera’s high-collared dress with a brooch choker and floor-length skirt. Annette’s outfit is simple, chic, and functional allowing her ease of movement as she fights monsters and night creatures.
