Castlevania Nocturne: Recap and Review

I binge-watched Castlevania Nocturne Season 2. It was a promising second season, and I enjoyed every episode. Each one was full of action, emotional weight, and vampire antics.
Let's begin at the end of Season 1; the gang led by Richter Belmont had stormed the palatial estate of Erzebet, the so-called Messiah of the vampire world. After battling night creatures and vampires, the gang faces off against Erzebet and her human helper, the priest, who is Maria Renard’s father.
Maria faces off against Erzebet and is knocked unconscious. The rest of the gang fight back but are powerless against the powerful vampire. Erzebet wants to bring Maria into her fold because she sees her potential. In a surprising turn, Terra, Maria’s mother, offers herself to Erzebet and becomes a vampire. The gang uses her sacrifice to make a run for it.
However, Drolta, Erzebet’s second in command, follows them and moves in for the attack. The gang is exhausted and injured. Maria is still unconscious. Drolta closes in for the skill, and in an unexpected turn of events, Alucard, son of Dracula, appears and cuts her down, saving the resistance who make their way into the woods.
