Campus Protests Rock the Nation

Students are letting their voices be heard

I would not want to be in President Biden’s position right now. America’s colleges and universities are bursting at the seams. History is repeating itself across college campuses nationwide. From Emerson College in Boston to UCLA in California, students are setting up camps and taking over building to protest the war between Israel and Hamas.

Biden needs to address the nation on the matter. Students are fighting the police, shutting down campuses, and holding protest vigils. Students are angry and rightly so. The war between Israel and Hamas has gone on for far too long costing the lives of thousands of Palestinians — especially children. The war needs to stop so Palestinian families can get out of harm’s way.

Hamas needs to return the remaining hostages from the October 7th 2023 attack. There must be negotiations for a ceasefire. Israel must open up airports, sea lanes, and over land routes to allow aid to come into Gaza. Many Palestinians are dying from starvation. Hospitals need supplies to help the injured. Families must be allowed to bury their dead in a safe space.
