Bag charms are currently all the rage in the handbag world. Whether on a small purse, crossbody bag, or large tote, bag charms are the accessory of the moment. And I’m not mad at it!
Bag charms are a way to give a bag a bit of quirkiness. They also reflect the personality of the owner. I love color, so my bag charms have to be colorful. I’m also not afraid to stand out fashion-wise, so my bag charms must also be attention-grabbers.
Bag charms can be as simple as small silver or gold bells, chains, ornate buttons, broken jewelry pieces, or stuffed animals (as in the above photo). Anything can be a bag charm. If you like to DIY, you can find pieces in your jewelry case, junk drawer, or kid’s room. If you need pieces to create your bag charm, purchase affordable bits and baubles at your local Hobby Lobby or Michael’s.
