August Arrives

Let’s See What This Months Brings

We have made it to August! A new month! New possibilities. Another chance to reset.

Many people would agree with me that July 2024 was something else. From Supreme Court decisions to celebrity passings and a historic democratic nominee for President shift, July left many of us reeling.

But now it’s August 1st. August is here, and maybe the month will bring better news as we continue with the Olympic Games in Paris and US athletes rack up medals.

August continues the summer season. Hopefully, this means more beach days, amusement park outings, and backyard barbeques. In addition, the month marks the start of back-to-school shopping. Students in secondary and higher education will be returning to classes. Retailers have been gearing up for the back-to-school shopping season since mid-June.

My goals for August are to continue working on publishing essays on Medium, building an audience on Substack, and increasing my following count across all social media platforms. I’m primarily focused on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

My other goal is to be gainfully employed. While there are some possibilities in that area, nothing is certain yet. I will continue sending out my resume, updating it, and interviewing for positions. With all my experience and skills, I…
