As a teacher and a parent, I applaud this piece. Thank you! It has been a really stressful year and we need to support each other. Parents have to understand that we're doing the best we can. Admin needs to recognize we're trying to maintain high expectations and rigor. Students need to give us their best. If teachers leave in droves, they'll be replaced with teachers who don't lmow content, are culturally insensitve, and will not push students to be their best. Is that what parents want?
