Adidas Samba Have Me in A Chokehold
The Versatile Sneaker Comes in Many Styles and Colors
My idea of self-care is buying what I want when I want it. Of course, I don’t wish to add debt to my credit card, so I pick and choose my vices. One vice I have (and refuse to let go of) is the Adidas Samba. Since their arrival a couple of years ago, the Adidas Sambas have kicked down the gated walls of the fashion world. Every “cool girl” can be seen wearing a variation of the sneaker from New York to London.
I was late to the Samba party, but that’s okay since Adidas has added Campus and Super to the lineup. The Samba sneaker is the one that I wear the most often. Their colors range from fall green (as in the above image) to basic black. They are also pink, blue, purple, light brown, khaki, and silver. Recently, I purchased a bronze-colored pair. I can style the Samba with an array of colors like deep brown or light gray, and the Samba is so versatile that it can be worn with dresses, skirts, pants, or jeans. The outfit combos are limitless.
I must own at least ten pairs of Sambas, and that’s not counting the dozens and dozens of pairs of other Adidas styles I own. What can I say? I love sneakers!
