What Is It, and How Can It Help Your Style

Determining your color type (aka seasonal color analysis) is a great way to decide which colors flatter your skin tone, eyes, and hair the most. It makes shopping easier and helps your outfits feel more harmonious.

Here’s how to figure it out:

1. Identify Your Undertone: Warm vs. Cool vs. Neutral

Start by figuring out your skin undertone — the base color beneath your skin tone.

  • Cool Undertones: Pink, red, or bluish undertones.
  • The veins look blue or purple.
  • Silver jewelry looks better on you than gold.
  • You burn easily and rarely tan.
  • Warm Undertones: Yellow, peachy, or golden undertones.
  • The veins look green.
  • Gold jewelry flatters you more than silver.
  • You tan easily and rarely burn.
  • Neutral Undertones: A mix of both warm and cool.
  • The veins look blue-green.
  • Both silver and gold jewelry look good on you.
  • You might tan but could burn first.

2. Determine Your Contrast Level
